Upcoming Changes on AfriOne Bank Accounts:

1) Euro MasterCards launching soon.

2) Users will be able to have multiple prepaid cards.

3) Change in MasterCard fees for Prepaid Cards, going forward cards would be billed a monthly fee of $3 effective June. Before the application of the above fees, an option to cancel cards will be made available, or email your interest or disinterest in the new fee charges. The fees will be billed on the 1st of the following month to your balance (the 1st of July will be the 1st billing ). Please ensure you have sufficient funds available based on the number of cards you have issued (Both Crypto & USD MasterCard).

4) We are trying to work with new payment processors through which we are trying to reduce the cost of reloading your wallet/Card balance. Stay tuned for further updates on this.

5) AfriOne Community now has its Application on Google Play Store, it is safe and secure. Here is the link to download it (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=afrione.africa)

We do understand that some of the above changes may not be to your liking, however, the billing of monthly fees is introduced by MasterCard/Banks on all reloadable prepaid cards (Crypto & USD MasterCard). 

There is no reason to panic immediately, sufficient time is available for you to use/dispose of any user cards you believe are not required. The cancellation option will be available from the 7th of June onwards. Only those cards that are active up to 25th June will be billed on 1st July and any account that does not have the balance required to debit this transaction fees the cards will be automatically deactivated.

Please note that if you don't have a Crypto/USD MasterCard, this does not apply to you as these monthly charges are only applicable to users of Mastercards. AfriOne Bank is still free of monthly charges and we will endeavor to keep it that way.

Please remember to use the PAYOUT system to transfer money to Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, and Kenya at a minimum transfer fee and more competitive than the ordinary money exchangers. More country is coming soon to be able to payout and this also include payment to MOMO Account Across Africa.
